Varshan, the Consumed, is one of the newest additions to Diablo 4. Players will encounter Varshan as they advance through the Seasonal storyline. Here is how to encounter Varshan again.
Diablo 4 dropped Season of the Malignant, the first seasonal update since the game’s release. Varshan, the Consumed, is one of the new bosses in the game. The first encounter with Varshan takes place as players explore the main quest in the game.
In order to fight Varshan again, players will require a special item.
To encounter Varshan, it is necessary to use the Invoker of Varshan. This consumable can only be obtained by defeating Varshan in the Seasonal storyline.
Once players defeat Varshan, it will drop the Invoker of Varshan recipe. The recipe can be used to unlock a crafting recipe. On Cormond’s Workbench, players will have the option to craft an Invoker of Varshan.
The recipe requires these items:
After crafting the Invoker of Varshan, players must head to World Tier one or two. The consumable won’t work if the players are on a higher tier.
Find the Malignant Tunnel and walk through the end. Along the way, players might encounter doors that are hiding a Malignant Pustule. Inside, interact with the Malignant Pustule and consume the Invoker of Varshan. The boss will spawn right there.
Finding a door in these tunnels is a matter of luck since the doors rarely spawn. Even if you are carrying the consumable, the encounter is not guaranteed.
Defeating Varshan in the lower tiers will unlock a new difficulty level. The Foul Invoker of Varshan allows you to battle the boss World Tier three. To complete this battle, players will require another Invoker of Varshan and 50 Sigil Powder. Â
