The WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack DLC bundle is almost here, but what do players get with it?

Just a few weeks removed from the release of the Banzai Pack, the Most Wanted Pack is inbound. As with all other DLC bundles for WWE 2K22, this one includes a handful of new wrestlers to play as alongside MyFaction cards for each one.

But which wrestlers are included in the WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack? And what’s the story behind each superstar? Here’s what you need to know.

WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack wrestlers

The WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack boasts two of the biggest names from years past that were omitted from the original roster of WWE 2K22. Alongside the two legends are a duo of prominent wrestlers from the NXT umbrella as well as a familiar novelty act superstar. Here are the five wrestlers coming in the Most Wanted Pack.

Cactus Jack

The namesake of the pack is one of the faces of Foley, Cactus Jack. Mick Foley was arguably the most shocking omission from the game’s base roster, with none of his iconic characters being included. Hardcore wrestling forerunner and aficionado of barbed wire-covered baseball bats Cactus Jack joins with the WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack, but it doesn’t seem as though Mankind of Dude Love will be joining the WWE 2K22 roster along with him.

Vader

Big Van Vader has been a steady presence in WWE 2K games since 2K16. He was a notable omission from 2K20 and his initial removal from 2K22 suggested that Vader’s family and the WWE may have been broken off contact following Vader’s tragic death in 2018. Thankfully, Vader returns in WWE 2K22 through the Most Wanted Pack. Vader is an absolute legend of the 1980s and 90s thanks to his work in WCW and NJPW. His WWE run wasn’t as successful, but he is still an icon of the era.

Ilja Dragunov

Generally speaking, working on NXT UK has been a one-way ticket to obscurity. Ilja Dragunov and Walter are among the few superstars that have been able to break out of that purgatory, with their feud drawing attention from outside NXT UK’s core fans. Though Walter has since endured a disastrous rebranding to Gunther Stark, a name shared with a Nazi naval commander, Ilja Dragunov has so far been spared that treatment.

Indi Hartwell

Indi Hartwell was an up-and-comer of the previous iteration of NXT who currently finds herself spinning her wheels in the new NXT 2.0. She won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Candice LeRae, but with LeRae currently on maternity leave Hartwell’s immediate future is now unclear. Either way, she’s a welcome addition to the WWE 2K22 women’s roster that has been looking thin.

The Boogeyman

The Boogeyman had a short run in WWE but was memorable enough to wind up on a WWE “legend contract.” This keeps him around for random appearances, but not in WWE games. This is his first appearance in a mainline WWE game since WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, but Boogeyman also appeared in WWE 2K Battlegrounds. This means he could become a mainstay in WWE games moving forward.
