Valorant players will soon be able to dash away with Jett on their mobile devices. A beta version of Valorant Mobile will go live soon, but only a few will get the opportunity to try it out early.

Valorant has quickly become one of the top PC shooters in 2022, but Riot Games isn’t stopping there. The developer plans to roll out a mobile version for players that like to squeeze in a five-versus-five game on the run. Rumors of a mobile Valorant have been ripe for a while, but it may be happening sooner than expected.

According to credible leaker ValorMike, a beta version of Valorant Mobile is already in the making, and will include friends invite system.

How to gain access to Valorant Mobile beta?

The exact details to access Valorant Mobile are unknown, but leaks confirm that it’d include a friend invite system. So if you’re friends with anyone at Riot, you are in luck. Here’s how the Valorant Mobile beta invites would likely work.

According to ValorMike, only those who receive invites from an existing beta user will be able to run Valorant. For example, if you are someone who has received beta access to Valorant, you can invite five more friends using your personal referral link. It isn’t yet confirmed, but those invited through referral links would likely not be able to invite more players.

The player who received beta access would probably be obligated to get some aboard friends in order to try out the game. Initial access may be granted similarly to what Riot did for Project A.

There is much speculation as players await further updates from Riot. More details will likely be revealed soon, but players may want to hone their mobile gaming skills elsewhere for now.

When is Valorant Mobile coming out?

Valorant Mobile is likely coming out in the second half of 2022 or 2023. The exact date isn’t known yet, but Riot Games’ Anna Donlon shared that it’s currently under development. The executive producer said that the mobile version should be ready in the second full year of Valorant, which would be 2022.

The developer also stressed that while the mobile version of the game would be different from Valorant on PC, that the competitive experience will remain the same. Unlike other games, Valorant Mobile won’t be crossplay since Riot isn’t trying to mix PC players with those playing its mobile version. The gameplay will differ a lot, as Riot recognizes that the needs of mobile players vary greatly compared to those on the PC.
