The Danish jungler from FlyQuest Lucas “Santorin” Larsen will be up for grabs in the upcoming free agency window.

Santorin recently announced that he has been allowed to explore options for the 2021 LCS season a few days before the player free agency period starts on November 16. The announcement indicates that Santorin will leave FlyQuest and play for another LCS team next year, or maybe even a team in the LEC.

I have been given permission by FlyQuest ahead of time to explore my opportunities before becoming a Free Agent on November 16th.

Santorin recently participated at the 2020 World Championship together with FlyQuest, for the first time in the organization’s history. FlyQuest qualified after two great 2020 LCS Split, placing second in both spring and summer. FlyQuest was placed in a hard group that they didn’t manage to get out of. But they did make North America proud by beating LPL champions Top Esports and finishing with a solid 3-3 record.

Could Santorin be joining Team Liquid for 2021 LCS season?

Since Santorin is looking for new opportunities, there will be speculated between League of Legends fans. One of the rumors is that Santorin might be heading to Team Liquid, who recently resigned with mid laner Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen in a reportedly record-breaking deal.

It also seems like Liquid will pick up former Origen top laner Barney “Alphari” Morris for 2021 in an attempt to build another LCS super team. If Santorin joins the squad, Liquid will have a scary team going into the next season.

Liquid is likely to keep the bot lane of Edward “Tactical” Ra and Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in to keep the strong core of 2020 while adding new star players to the team.

Whichever team Santorin joins, he will be adding a lot of experience and individual skill to a team. Santorin was arguably the best performing player on FlyQuest throughout 2020 and is considered one of the absolute best junglers in the LCS.

Santorin won the 2015 NA LCS Spring Split, back when he played on Team SoloMid and has been to Worlds twice. The Danish jungler knows what it’s like to play on a top team and might become even better in 2021.

Santorin is allowed to sign a new contract on November 16.
