Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok may be the greatest League of Legends player of all time, and will now be immortalized in a limited edition collectible statue from merchandise and apparel makers Superplay.

Fans and collectors from all around the world will now be able to own an 11cm tall and 5cm wide statue of the legendary player.

The statue is now on sale for $33 and depicts a cartoonish Faker wearing his 2016 SK Telecom T1 jersey, positioned in his classic arms crossed stance. The figure captures his iconic glasses and the stare that has struck fear into the hearts of his opponents for years whenever he has taken the rift.

Alongside numerous domestic titles, Faker and Bae “bengi” Seong-woong are the only two players in history to have won three Riot World Championships.

Faker was picked up from solo queue by the Korean communication company SK Telecom in 2013 and played for its LoL team SK Telecom T1. The legendary mid laner has created many highlight moments across his storied career, such as the Zed vs Zed outplay against Ryu “Ryu” Sang-wook in the final game of the Korean OGN league finals of 2013. A hugely talented player who is broadly admired by his peers, Faker has always been able to create moments of individual magic in a strongly team-oriented game.

In the 2019 Mid-Season Invitation, SKT was defeated 3-2 in what many considered upset by the LEC’s G2 Esports. Faker reflected on the loss in a recent interview.

“Although our team didn’t meet the fans’ expectations during MSI, we’ll use what we had learned from that tournament to further improve ourselves for summer,” Faker said.

This will come as an ominous warning to the rest of the LoL competitive scene. The 2019 World Championship begins later in the year with China’s Invictus Gaming serving as the reigning champions. Faker will surely want to add to his legacy by claiming a fourth World Championship and the return of Korean League of Legends to the highest pedestal in the world.

T1 exposes Karmine Corp with 3-0 win at League of Legends MSI 2026 Wasif Ahmed T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies. Right off the bat, a botched invade put their jungle and bot lane at a disadvantage. ...
