If you have a need for speed in Grand Theft Auto V, the Ocelot Pariah is exactly what you’re looking for.

A big part of GTA V is the feeling of freedom. You’re free to cruise around the city of Los Santos doing whatever you want with almost nothing to stop you. You can get into thrilling gunfights, meet crazy characters, and fling supercars off cliffs just to see what happens.

Getting around the city can take time, so it makes sense to want the absolute fastest car in the entire game. That’s where the Ocelot Pariah comes in.

With a top speed of 136 miles per hour, the Ocelot Pariah has the highest top speed of any car in Grand Theft Auto V. Understandably, it comes at the heft price of $1,420,000. The Pariah has become a status symbol in GTA Online due to its best-in-class top speed and stylish looks.

If you’re looking to pick one up for yourself, here’s everything you need to know about the fastest car in all of GTA V.

Is the Ocelot Pariah a real car?

The Ocelot Pariah is not based on any one real car.

The car designers at Rockstar Games took inspiration from two actual cars for the Ocelot Pariah. The front end of the car is clearly inspired by the Aston Martin V12 Zagato. The British hypercar shares many similarities with the Pariah. The circular front grille and lower diffuser look very similar, and the hood vents match up very closely. The real Aston Martin car has an even higher top speed than the Ocelot Pariah at 190 miles per hour.

The middle and rear ends of the Ocelot appear to resemble the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The door vents and sloping back are the easiest similarities to spot. The Pariah’s rear panels also bulge out behind the rear tires to form an angled rear bumper the same way the Ferrari’s does. Just like the Aston Martin, the real 812 Superfast is much faster than the Ocelot Pariah with a top speed of 211 miles per hour.

Should I buy the Ocelot Pariah?

As the fastest car in GTA V, the Ocelot Pariah is definitely worth saving up for. It’s very expensive to purchase and upgrade, but if you want the absolute fastest car, accept no substitutions.

The Ocelot Pariah is available from the in-game internet browser. Open up a computer and head to the Legendary Motorsport website. From there, you can pick from a wide variety of sports and luxury vehicles. The Ocelot Pariah is listed at $1,420,000. Once you order one, it should be delivered to you after just a moment of waiting.

It’s worth noting that a few special vehicles from other classes technically outspeed the Pariah. All of the planes are obviously faster, and the rocket-powered cars and dragsters can go way faster in the right circumstances. A car is the most useful of all vehicle types, however, so the Ocelot Pariah still wins out as the fastest car you can actually play the game with.

What car can beat the Pariah?

While the Ocelot Pariah has the fastest top speed of any car in Grand Theft Auto, it’s not necessarily the fastest car in all settings.

Competitive speed freaks have found that the Pagani Zonda-inspired Dewbauchee Vagner beats it out on many in-game racetracks. The Pariah doesn’t always have time to reach its insane top speed, especially when tight corners are involved. Several other supercars can still contest it on a racing course.

But on straight highway stretches with a skilled driver, the Pariah can’t be beaten.

The luxury supercar also struggles on any surface other than asphalt. The landscape of Los Santos is very diverse, with sprawling hills, deserts, and mountains. Specialized vehicles like the Declasse Brutus or Vagrant can quickly outclass the Pariah on dirt paths. If you ever need to outspeed a Pariah, don’t stay on the highways. When it’s out of its natural habitat, the fastest car in GTA V quickly loses its title.
