Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the fourth installment of the popular Counter-Strike series that was first launched in 1999.

CSGO is a tactical shooter developed by Valve based on a fan-made mod for Half-Life. Despite being an older game at this point, it is still hugely popular because of the strategy, the different game modes, and the numerous CSGO gambling sites that you can find out about at CSGO Captain.

CSGO was launched back in 2012 but in 2019 it was made free to play. Compared to the original iterations of the game, CSGO has several different types of game modes including the ‘capture the flag’ mode in the hostage rescue scenario, deathmatches and the thrilling Danger Zone battle royale. However, the competitive scene rotates around the bomb defusal mode.

In defusal mode there are two teams, being the counter-terrorists and the terrorists. The terrorists have to plant and set off a bomb, whereas the counter-terrorists need to prevent this from happening.

How CSGO gambing works

So, that’s a bit about the actual game, but what about CSGO gambling? What is it and how does it work? Well, betting on CSGO doesn’t simply just mean betting on the outcome of a tournament or event. There are lots of ways you can bet on CSGO.

There has been a big rise recently in the number of CSGO betting sites and skins casinos that offer fans of CSGO a wide range of online casino games and slots – as well as other CSGO games such as CSGO Roulette, CSGO Blackjack, CSGO Jackpot games, CSGO Coinflip, CSGO Crash, and CSGO mines. Other popular games available include CSGO Dice, CSGO Upgrade, games like Hi-Lo and even CSGO Poker.

However, instead of gambling for cash and real money, players can gamble and win CSGO items and skins.

CSGO skins

According to CSGO Captain skin betting still exists in the world of CSGO. Skin betting allows players to make wagers using CSGO skins instead of actual currency or cryptocurrency.

CSGO skins are in-game items that change the appearance of a gun, knife, or player character. CSGO skins can range in value from a few cents to thousands of dollars, or even tens of thousands in some cases. Skin betting uses the market value of a skin to determine the value of a bet and how much a player stands to win.

Skin betting in CSGO was largely shut down in 2016 but there are still certain sites that allow players to make deposits using skins from CSGO and other games.

CSGO betting sites

There are many excellent CSGO betting sites now with a variety of offerings. Ideally, the best CSGO gambling sites offer fast and convenient withdrawal options as well as excellent bonuses and promo codes for free bets or even free skins.

The best sites also offer 24-hour customer service, a responsive and smooth design on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile as well strong data security.

CSGO tournament gambling trends to watch out for

Because CSGO gambling has become more popular than ever, more players worldwide can enjoy CSGO gambling games and trends. There is now a huge number of CSGO tournaments to bet on with a vast number of organizations that have started to take part in the esport. Top names include Astralis, Fnatic, Natus Vincere, mousesports and more.

Teams in tournaments can find themselves on the receiving end of big wins and now, with the rise of CSGO gambling, it’s possible to get a taste of the wins as a CSGO gambler.

A different way of betting

Even if you are new to esports and CSGO betting, there are a variety of ways to get in on the action. If you already know how to play games such as roulette and blackjack, then CSGO Roulette and CSGO Blackjack are basically the same.

CSGO gambling has found a way of giving regular players even more excitement and a chance of getting something out of it. It has added an extra dimension to an already-popular game and we can only expect that it will become even more popular in the future.
