Riot Games is doing something special for Valorant players to celebrate the upcoming Valorant Champions 2021 event.

The new Champions Bundle has been revealed in Valorant, commemorating the upcoming VCT event that will crown the first ever Valorant world champions. The skins are set to be true limited-edition options, with a run in the store from November 24 to December 12. Once December 13 hits, the skins will be gone for good and will not return to the store or Night.Market again after that.

50% of the revenue generated from these skins will be passed on to the teams competing at Valorant Champions 2021. It’s unclear exactly how this money will be divided up among the teams competing in the event, as it could hypothetically added into the prize pool or could be divided up evenly among competing teams. Regardless, this is an extra windfall for the teams competing in the event and an opportunity for fans to contribute to the competition.

Valorant’s Champions bundle contains just two skins, one for the melee slot and another for the Vandal. The skins are black with a gold design that looks like shattered glass with the word “CHAMPIONS” scratched across the Vandal. The knife is a karambit-style with a unique set of animations while the Vandal has an enormous finisher.

The skins will only be available for three weeks and will disappear from shops forever afterwards.

Valorant Champions 2021 skins add to growing event

Though Valorant isn’t yet as popular as its Riot’s MOBA League of Legends, Riot Games is looking to make the Valorant Champions 2021 tournament similarly large in scope to LoL’s annual World Championship.

Alongside the Champions skins bundle, Riot also released an official song for Valorant Champions 2021. The song by Grabbitz came with an impressive animated music video that expands on Valorant’s lore.

Valorant Champions 2021 has a $1 million prize pool with a $350,000 top prize. The event begins on December 1 and runs until December 12.
