Fortnite’s competitive scene may not be as fiery as it once was but Epic Games hasn’t forgotten the legends that set the foundation. The company has announced the Icon series for Bugha, who became the first Fortnite World Cup solo champion in 2019, winning $3 million at the age of 16. The pro player didn’t stop there. Bugha continued to dominate Fortnite’s competitive scene, becoming an icon for many.

After Bugha’s victory at Fortnite’s greatest platform, Epic Games introduced a couple of icon series, starting with Ninja’s upbeat outfit. Streamers and content creators were also enshrined with the legendary “icon” title. However, fans eagerly waited for Bugha to finally make the cut.

Epic Games has listened to the community and introduced a new competitive LTM alongside Bugha skin and cosmetics. Players will be able to grab the Ninja skin in the Fortnite shop starting Thursday, January 16.

All you need to know about Bugha’s Icon series

The cosmetic set will be available in three different variations, default, elite style, and World Cup. This last outfit will include the Fortnite World Cup trophy and his beloved pug Zoey inside. The pack will also include Bugha Blades Pickaxe and the Bring It Around emote, the dance move Bugha flawlessly pulled at World Cup. All of the cosmetics are a nod to Bugha’s look at Fortnite WorldCup.

Here is everything fans can expect in Bugha Icon series

Apart from all the bling, Fortnite will get a new limited game mode along dubbed Bugha’s Late Game Arena. The LTM will run from July 20 to July 28, in which players will compete in trios as the storm closes in. The players who earn at least 1500 Hype before Bugha’s Late Game Tournament on July 28 will be eligible to participate in the tournament with $100,000 on the line.
