A Quiet Place has been a hit movie series and the prequel is about to hit theaters. With all the excitement over the tense alien movie building up, it was the perfect time to announce that A Quiet Place is now a video game as well. Here’s what we know so far about A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.
The announcement trailer for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead was shared a day after the game was officially revealed. In the trailer, it appears that you are taking a hold of a survivor of the initial alien attack and are tasked with searching the buildings and city around you to find useful resources for fighting against the noise sensitive invaders.
The trailer shows a lot of sneaking around, with any noise you make setting off the terrifying aliens.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead – Reveal Trailer
There isn’t a lot of official information shared about the gameplay just yet. From what we can tell, it’s a horror survival game where you have to avoid making sounds by really studying your surroundings as you search buildings for useful resources.
Right now, we can’t confirm if you fight off the aliens when they attack or if making noise spells the end for you entirely. No weapons were showed in the trailer.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is coming out later this year. There is currently no specific release date. It will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
You can currently add A Quiet Place to your wishlist but the game is not available for pre-order just yet.
