Street Fighter 6 revealed the next DLC character during EVO 2023. AKI will make her Street Fighter debut in Autumn.
One new character is joining the Street Fighter 6 roster, A.K.I., a maniacal poison aficionado. A.K.I is the second character from Year 1.
In the teaser trailer shared during EVO 2023, we can see A.K.I poisoning a fighter. She then goes on to describe all of the symptoms caused by poison and ends up laughing maniacally. A.K.I will be officially released in fall and will be playable in World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground. More details about A.K.I are likely to be revealed closer to the release date.
A.K.I follows Rashid, the first DLC character released. Rashid is now available in the game. Self-proclaimed “The Soaring Eagle of the Desert,” Rashid fights using parkour. He is a character with high mobility. From his biography, we learn that Rashid was born into nobility and is a carefree and earnest man. Also, Rashid loves video streaming.
Rashid, A.K.I, Ed, and Akuma are part of the Year 1 Character Pass. Akuma is scheduled for release in Spring 2024, while Ed is coming out in Winter 2024, completing the Year 1 additional character release. Purchasing the Year 1 Character Pass guarantees all of these characters as soon as they are available in-game.
A.K.I is not the only news coming from EVO 2023 for the Street Fighter 6 players. The game officially announced a crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
On August 8, players will have access to Ninja Turtles-themed items, emotes, accessories, and other items. Using the event’s costume, players can turn their character into one of the Ninja Turtles. All of the accessories, including the in-game device wallpapers, will be available in the World Tour and Battle Hub modes.
