shroud x Logitech G collection surprises fans, site crashes
Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro Michael "shroud" Grzesiek announced a new partnership on Twitch.
The popular streamer has partnered with Logitech G and has a new line of gaming accessories being launched. The line of products is called the shroud X Logitech G collection, which are black and blue to match shroud's new logo. shroud noted that he actually redesigned his logo because the old one "didn't look good on product."
The Logitech G Pro Series "shroud Edition" products include:
- Pro Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Mouse
- Pro X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset
- Pro X Keyboard GX Red Linear
- G840 XL Gaming Mousepad
It's expected that even more branded products will become available down the line.
For some of shroud's more loyal fans, the Logitech G collaboration comes as a surprise. The streamer was previously part of the HyperX Heroes line, along with other big names including Imane "Pokimane" Anys and rapper Post Malone, a recent esports investor. But shroud has since been removed from HyperX's website.
Other fans most likely feel this was where shroud belonged all along. Even while partnering with HyperX, shroud was still seen using Logitech products. He especially preferred their mouse. According to a tweet announcing the partnership, shroud said he's been using Logitech G products for years.
Started using Logitech G products years ago and now we have a line of our own. Introducing the shroud x @LogitechG PRO line. Get yours: https://t.co/lALCEnGFtk pic.twitter.com/YnH9zwroKu

Three hours after shroud announced the collaboration, the site experienced some issues. shroud noted in a followup tweet that the traffic caused the site to crash.
"You guys broke the site when we launched this but it's fixed now so go get my gear and use code 'shroud' for free shipping. Go go go!!" shroud exclaimed.
shroud doing well after return to streaming on Twitch
This has been a big year for shroud. The big-name streamer returned to Twitch and signed an exclusive deal after Mixer closed. While he had previously predicted that Mixer would surpass Twitch in users, shroud didn't seem to mind coming back to Twitch. He called the streaming platform his "home."
"Twitch fits well with the big plans I have in gaming," shroud explained.
Another Mixer millionaire, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, also chose to sign with Twitch after the site shut down.
