Valve’s second Regional Ranking tournament, CS Summit 6, will host competitions in both Europe and North America starting on June 13.

The two-stage qualifiers will begin on June 13 and 14 with the open portion of CS Summit 6, followed by what are the actual regional qualifiers for the tournament. Eight teams from North America and 16 from Europe will then compete in another round of qualifiers on June 22 through June 23, before the main group stage of the event officially starts on June 24.

In Europe, four groups consisting of four teams each will compete in Valve’s summer Regional Ranking tournament. Due to the lower number of pro teams residing in North America, CS Summit’s regional tournament there will be held between two groups of four each. Signups for CS Summit 6’s open qualifiers are now officially open in both regions.

The decision comes on the heels of announcements from the teams that both in-game leader Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth were taking leaves of absences from the team.
