Twitch streamer Sebastian "Forsen" has just been banned from the streaming platform.
Forsen hasn't released any statement on the ban, so it's unclear how long his account will be suspended or what the punishment is specifically for. According to some of his viewers, the Swedish streamer was being toxic in chat while playing Valorant, and this is what most likely led to his ban.
Forsen was allegedly "flaming" his teammates for not playing well, even calling some people "retarded." If Forsen was, in fact, using this word, it's most definitely against Twitch's community guidelines. They state that any content or activity that promotes, encourages, or facilitates discrimination or harassment based on disability is prohibited under "hateful conduct." This is a zero-tolerance violation and can lead to an indefinite suspension. Given the variance in Twitch's suspensions, there's no way to know how long Forsen will be offline.
Being banned isn't anything new for Forsen. In 2016, Forsen was banned for falling asleep while streaming drunk. The 24-hour ban was also due to a lot of other smaller offenses adding up, Forsen claimed at the time.
Was Forsen banned for being toxic in Valorant?
Before this most recent ban, Forsen was getting some hate from his followers for playing Valorant on stream. Prior to the ban, Forsen was almost ranked at Immortals, just one tier away from Valorant rank, which is the highest rank in the new first-person shooter.
Despite being a pretty talented player, some of his followers have been constantly begging him to stop playing the game. Many find it boring to watch due to the constant presence of vision-obscuring abilities. Some of his followers even think he's bad at the game in spite of his high rank. Others feel that he is selling out to get more viewers due to Valorant's closed beta key drop program on Twitch. This is something a lot of pro players have complained about recently as well.
