YouTuber CallMeCarson accused of grooming underage viewers
YouTuber Carson “CallMeCarson” King is under fire for allegedly grooming underage fans.
Drama Alert host Daniel “Keemstar” Keem recently had Super Smash Bros. Melee pro Juan “Hungrybox” DeBiedma and content creator Traves on his show for an interview. The two popular gamers, who had previously collaborated with CallMeCarson in the Lunch Club group, used the platform to open up about some concerning things CallMeCarson had allegedly done.
According to Hungrybox and Traves, CallMeCarson had admitted to them that he was talking to underage fans. Other members of the Lunch Club group, including Slimecicle, had similar stories about CallMeCarson. Slimecicle claimed CallMeCarson exchanged nudes with a 17-year-old girl. He had reported the disturbing story to police at the time.

Grooming allegations leveled against CallMeCarson in Keemstar interview
The accusations were quickly reinforced by Twitter user miniborb, who claimed she was one of the underage girls CallMeCarson had groomed. She explained that she was 17 years old when CallMeCarson, then 19, had sexual conversations with her. She included screenshots of the interactions.
After the Keemstar interview, CallMeCarson lost thousands of subscribers. But the YouTuber hasn’t made any public statements about the accusations.
Meanwhile, Keemstar became the target of more drama. Slimecicle and others in the streaming community felt that the CallMeCarson accusations were very serious and needed to be taken to the authorities instead of being viewed as “drama.” Keemstar immediately shot back against the shade on Twitter.
“When there’s a situation that someone is a predator online, it’s important it gets covered by the news so everyone knows about it. In this scenario, it’s important that the audience and the viewers know about this situation to stay clear of a potential predator,” Keemstar said.

This is far from the first time a content creator has been under fire for taking advantage of underage fans. Former Rooster Teeth member Ryan Haywood was called out for planning a potential return to Twitch after being accused of leaking nudes of underage fans. Last year, hundreds of streamers were accused of rape, assault, sexual harassment, and grooming, leading the community to ask Twitch to take sweeping action.
