Reports and rumors regarding Apex Legends Mobile were plenty, but teasers of a new legend are now making waves. Is Apex Legends Mobile getting a platform-exclusive legend?

After winning hearts in selected regions during the beta, Apex Legends Mobile is now all set to be released globally. The mobile version of the popular battle royale has jaw-dropping exclusive content, and PC players also want a taste. However, EA’s mobile battle royale isn’t a micro version of Apex Legends PC. It’s different and comes with unique in-game cosmetics.

Apex Legends Mobile’s trailer for Season 1 is here, featuring familiar faces. However, the outro has piqued the interest of the fans. Respawn may take smartphone gaming to a whole new level by introducing a platform-exclusive legend.

Who is Fade in Apex Legends Mobile?

According to a leak, Fade is the upcoming legend coming to the Apex Legends Mobile roster. The 10th legend would only be available on mobile, at least at first.

The teaser for Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 wraps up in the image of an unknown character who’ll bring competition to the older roster. A leak has confirmed that a brand new face will enter the squad with teleporting powers. Many had already expected this since Apex’s mobile log would be understaffed initially, Respawn had confirmed.

The developer announced Apex Legends Mobile with limited playable characters. So far, the game has nine legends, with one locked in the battle pass. All the legends are from Apex PC, but the developer teased platform-exclusive characters that may be released with each patch. A new leak suggests Apex Legends Mobile would become publicly available with a new character dubbed “Fade.”

Fade’s abilities in Apex Legends Mobile

Fade, also known as Phasing Punisher, will bring teleporting powers to the Outlands. The developer hasn’t yet officially revealed his kit, but some of his abilities have slipped through the cracks. Here’s everything Fade can do, according to the leaks.

Slipstream (Passive): Splistream allows Fade to slide with boosted speed. This mobility will allow him to dodge danger and make unpredictable moves.

Flashback (Tactical): Fade toys with time using his Tactical ability, Flashback. The legend can rewind the clock by seven to eight seconds, making it challenging for enemies to keep track of him in a battle.

Phase Chamber (Ultimate): Fade’s ultimate releases a phase cage that sends all legends within range into the Void.
