Season 1 of 1923 was a massive success, and viewers had high expectations for the second season. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, season 2 of 1923 has been delayed indefinitely.

Back in 2007, the WGA went on strike for three months. As a result, several TV shows were delayed and, later on, cancelled. It is expected that many TV shows won’t survive the current strike.
