Twitch streamer Tayhuhu banned because her child showed on stream
Brazilian Twitch streamer Tayhuhu has been issued an indefinite ban after her young daughter appeared on stream while Tayhuhu was briefly away to pick up food delivery. The live-streaming platform has not yet responded to the streamer’s request for support.
Twitch has been in the headlines for most of the year due to controversies related to bans and DMCA strikes. This time, a Brazilian streamer with a small following has come under the ban hammer after she briefly left her child unattended in front of the camera. Her daughter briefly showed up on stream and interacted with the chat, resulting in an indefinite ban on Tayhuhu’s channel.
When compared with other Twitch controversies, her ban has been unfair and harsh, Tayhuhu has said.
“I’m shaking with hate, I’m crying so much, TWITCH ENDED MY EVOLUTION AS STREAMER, I had almost 300views on live and growing too much,” Tayhuhu said.
The Brazillian streamer hinted at a comparison to the recent ban rendered by Twitch to MissBehavin. That streamer revealed explicit content on stream which earned her a three-day ban from Amazon-owned streaming platform. Tayhuhu is not the first streamer who has spoken up about the unfair treatment. Most recently, Twitch streamer JustaMinx said that her ban over using slurs was harsh as compared to Missbehavin’s ban.
Twitch gave a 3 day ban to a girl who showed her whole pussy on stream but 7 days to me for sayings words that I didnt even mean in a hostile way

Can a minor stream on Twitch?
The viewers are divided whether Tayhuhu’s ban is justified or not, as Twitch has clear and strict policies regarding a minor appearing on a live stream. A person under the age of 13 is prohibited from publishing content without the supervision of a parent or guardian.
“The Twitch Services are not available to persons under the age of 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence, you may only use the Twitch Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.” Twitch’s rules state.
Tayhuhu violated a simple rule and has accepted her mistake. However, she’s enraged about Twitch not responding to her emails and requests for support, as live-streaming was her only source of income.
The streaming platform has always been serious about the implementation of its rules and regulations. Despite that, fans of Tayhuhu have come out in her support, demanding Twitch to re-evaluate her case. Twitch has mentioned that it takes the context of a situation into account before rendering a ban. There is still hope for Tayhuhu to get unbanned sooner than later since her daughter appearing on camera was brief and may have been very much unintentional.
