Top ranked player Revenge declares intent to go pro in the LCS

Moe “Revenge” Kaddoura is one of the best League of Legends players in North America, and now he is looking to take his skills to the LCS stage for the first time.

Revenge is currently ranked 26th on the North American ranked ladder, a higher rank than those held by most of the current LCS players. He is also undoubtedly one of the most mechanically skilled players in the region, based on his solo queue performance. He has been in the top percentage of North American LoL players for quite some time, and has had received offers to potentially join LCS teams before but turned them to down to focus on academic pursuits.

But now his situation has changed, and Revenge has made the decision to try and make it to the LCS.

In a video posted on Twitter Revenge reveals he is open to joining a main roster or academy team, and is going to be focusing one hundred percent of his time on League of Legends, something he has not been able to do thus far due to scholastic commitments.

The fact that he managed to reach such a high level of skill without dedicating all of his time to the game is an impressive feat, and raises the question of just how good he could become if he does play full-time.

“A few years ago I denied opportunities to join the LCS, to pursue college and medicine instead,” Revenge said. “And while it has been going well for me I think that my passion for League has grown even more these past few years and my passion to compete even more.”

It’s rare that a player of this skill level becomes available as an open free agent, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him snapped up by an organization in the coming days. While there is no news on organizations that may be interested in signing him, one of the LCS’ most recognisable names, Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, has already voiced his support for the player.
