Playing mobile games on PC is often something of a gray area both legally and ethically. That isn’t the case with Call of Duty Mobile, though.

More often than not, there are a long list of things someone must do in order to play a mobile game on PC, but Call of Duty Mobile has an official PC port. Jumping into the action is quick and easy, and doesn’t involve any bootlegs or potential viruses for the PC.

How to play Call of Duty Mobile on PC

  1. Go to Gameloop Website
  2. Install Call of Duty Mobile app
  3. Optimize settings and controls
  4. Play on!

It’s really simple to get into CoD Mobile on the PC. Gameloop is essentially an officially released emulator put together by Tencent Holdings, the conglomerate behind League of Legends, CoD Mobile, Clash of Clans, and many more games. It is an expansion of the previously released Tencent Gaming Buddy, which saw massive use with PUBG Mobile, Tencent’s breakout hit based on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Gameloop supports a number of Tencent’s biggest mobile releases, as well as several other popular mobile titles including Pokemon Go, Genshin Impact, and Among Us. That large lineup of emulated games comes with expanded control support, as well as options for customizing the game based on the user’s hardware.

Is Call of Duty Mobile any good?

CoD Mobile received generally positive reviews, but fan opinion on the game has soured since. The game itself was praised for its fast-paced gunplay that felt like a legitimate recreation of Call of Duty. Many other mobile versions of popular franchises have struggled to effectively reproduce the PC or console experience on weaker hardware, but that isn’t the case with CoD Mobile.

That being said, CoD Mobile isn’t quite a legitimate substitute for the real thing. The actual PC and console games are still the best Call of Duty experience, and a player sitting at a PC with CoD installed will almost certainly choose to play a mainline game over the mobile version.

Is CoD Mobile pay-to-win?

In short, yes. Though CoD Mobile’s initial release was met with praise for its relatively fair microtransactions, the time since has seen Tencent give much greater rewards to those who pay up. This primarily relates to overpowered weapon variants that either aren’t accessible without paying, or require extensive grinding to obtain.
