Mobile gaming is becoming more prominent every year. Companies are developing phones that are optimized for gaming with better screens and cool-down systems. These devices are good, but some games require a bigger screen to get the full experience. Here is where the best gaming tablets in 2023 come in.

Mobile games like shooters require precision, and, in that case, a phone is enough. There are games like Riot Games’ TFT that are better played on a tablet. Players will get a better look at the layout, and it is more comfortable when it’s time to move your units.

There are no gaming tablets developed for that purpose. However, some of the models in the market are perfect for gaming.

Top of the line, SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S8

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is the best Android tablet on the market. It was released in 2022 with the latest version of its OS, Android 13. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has an 11 inches screen and a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The 8,000mAh battery makes it one of the tablets with the best battery life.

This tablet is powered by a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with an Octa-core CPU. It comes in two different storage options, 128GB with 8GB RAM or 256GB with 12GB RAM. The camera can record video in 4K@30/60fps, but of course, this is not the purpose of the tablet.

It retails for $629 for the 128GB version and $689 for the 256GB option.

The surprise Ipad Air 10th Generation

When we talk about gaming, Apple products don’t come to mind. These products are developed for other purposes that don’t include video games. The Ipad Air might be one of the few Apple products that can be considered by gamers.

It has a 10.9 inches screen. It is powered by an A14 Bionic chip with a 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU. It comes with a USB-C connector and can work with the Apple Pencil. The iPad’s 16 makes it one of the most powerful Ipads developed to date.

There are two versions of the Ipad Air, the 64GB option for $449 and the 256GB that retails for $593. This is a middle-of-the-road option with the best performance possible out of the three options in this list.

The budget-friendly Amazon Fire HD 10

Amazon’s tablets have improved over the years. In 2021, Amazon released its best model to date, the Amazon Fire HD 10. It is a cheaper option with a good enough build so it can be used for gaming.

It has 4GB RAM and an Octa-core processor. The battery can last up to 12 hours, and it has wireless charging. It comes in two versions, the 32GB that sells for $104 and the 64GB version with a price tag of $144. You can add a microSD and increase the capacity up to 1TB. The screen is 10.1 inches, the smallest of the three.

It is a good option for basic games that don’t require too much RAM memory.
