The top five esports tournaments to watch in 2022

Esports has incredibly popular gaming events worldwide, with many gamers and spectators enjoying the competition and winning big. As the industry grows, we’ve seen many people enter and more events hosted.

With 2022 underway, there are many tournaments lined up, and we’re looking forward to each one of them. However, we’ve curated some of the most anticipated top esports tournaments you should look out for this year.

2022 FIFAe World Cup

The FIFAe World Cup is an esports tournament organized by the world football governing body, FIFA and EA. The event features representatives of clubs from around the world split into 10 different regions. It has a league model online qualification, followed by the best clubs and organizations facing off at the FIFAe Club World Cup.

League of Legends World Championship 2022

League of Legends (LoL) is one of the biggest esports games, with many tournaments and millions of viewers. However, its biggest annual tournament is the World Championship, and we’re entering the 12th season. The competition consists of 12 teams from various regions competing for the best in the world crown.

2022 ESL Pro League Season 15

This year we’re geared for the 15th season of the ESL Pro League for CSGO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive), with the big final coming in the second quarter. The league includes a group stage with four single-elimination matchups. After that, the group winners enter the play-in, with the winning teams going to the semi-finals and finally ending with the best-of-five grand final.

LanTrek 2022

The LanTrek tournament is another anticipated event in esports. With a prize pool of over $100,000, it’s one of the biggest out of Europe. In addition to that, teams have the chance to seal their spot in the Masters’ tournament organized by Elisa Esports.

Valorant Champions Tour – Challengers

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) is back for another season in 2022. It comes with international competitions, extended regional challenger events, and more, showing just how talented women in esports are. We expect this event to be packed, and it’s certainly one that never disappoints.

With many events set for 2022, these five tournaments are our favourites, and we’re excited as they begin. Not to worry, you can always join in on the fun and watch them live on any esports live streaming platform. Aside from watching, you can also bet on esports.

In addition to esports, you can also give quick casinos a try. Read this if you want to learn more.
