Popular streamer and former League of Legends pro player Zachary “Sneaky” Scuderi said in a recent interview that he is looking to join a team for the 2021 LCS season.Â
The former Cloud9 player will be looking to join an LCS team if the right offer is made prior to the 2021 season. Sneaky took an official break from professional play in January before the 2020 season got underway. Sneaky has instead been working as a full-time streamer and content creator for Cloud9, giving him some time off from competing in the game after almost seven years spent playing in the LCS.Â
“I think I will be more actively looking for a pro play opportunity coming up for next year,” Sneaky said. “If I don’t find the right one then I won’t play, but it’s not like I’m looking for a team to join that is guaranteed to win,” Sneaky said.
During his year off, Sneaky has been streaming regularly and played other games than just League of Legends. Sneaky has been a long-time popular streamer, being one of the most-watched professional League of Legends players during his active career. Sneaky has also started co-streaming the LCS together with his former teammate William “Meteos” Hartman, which has been a big success.Â
Besides his streaming, Sneaky has also been a popular figure within the community for his cosplays. It started out as a joke shown during one of his streams, but ended up becoming something much bigger. Ever since Sneaky has been cosplaying different characters from both League of Legends and other media, and has even done cosplay together with former world champion Bae “Bang” Jun-sik at the 2018 All-Star event.Â
Sneaky was replaced at Cloud9 by Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen coming into the current season. The swap was made after a disappointing performance at the 2019 World Championship. Together with Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme, Zven had led C9 to dominate the LCS in 2020, winning the spring split without much competition from other LCS teams.Â
