Quickshot and Vedius will cast Worlds 2020 final, Sjokz to host
The biggest esports match of the year is approaching and will have some of the best on-air talent available covering it, but it won’t be covered by as many casters as in years past.
The 2020 League of Legends World Championship final will be cast by none other than Trevor “Quickshot” Henry and Andy “Vedius” Day. The analyst desk will be hosted by Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere and will include such names as Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi and Indiana “Froskurinn” Black to bring the best analysis of the games.

Finals cast will be alongside someone I’ve watched grow so much over the last 3 years
@RiotVedius. Vedishot! We aim to live up to the expectations you have for a Finals cast, and deliver the best possible experience for fans around the world.

This year’s Worlds final broadcast will be very different from previous years because the whole commentary setup will be transmitted from the LEC studio in Berlin. Furthermore, this year’s commentary will only feature two casters compared to the usual tri-cast setup.
Kobe involved, but won’t cast Worlds 2020 final
The analyst desk won’t be the same regional mix as it typically has been for the final, even though there will be segments with LCS analyst Sam “Kobe” Hartman-Kenzler and LPL commentator Jordan “Lyric” Corby. Instead of casting the final, Christy “Ender” Frierson will also have some segments in between the games.
It will be the first time in eight years that there won’t be a trio casting the big Worlds final. The change is likely due to the fact that the casters will be working off-site, but it still isn’t something the fans are happy about. With only Quickshot and Vedius casting, there will be a lot of pressure to deliver engaging commentary and in-depth analysis.
The two casters were not just chosen randomly. Quickshot is a veteran in his field and will be casting his second consecutive Worlds final. It will be the first Worlds final cast for Vedius after he has become one of the leading figures of the LEC’s broadcast team in 2020.
The big Worlds final between DAMWON Gaming and Suning will kick off on October 31, with an opening ceremony taking place before the teams hit Summoner’s Rift.
