New League of Legends skins released, Viego is in Valorant maps

Riot Games has delivered a brand new skin bundle dubbed “Ruination” and it’s unlike any other Valorant collection you’ve seen before.

League of Legends’ historical event Sentinels of Light will also be reflected in Riot Games’ shooter Valorant in the form of a skin bundle called Ruination. The dark-themed skins will be available to shop after the Patch 3.01 update.

Riot Games has revealed a trailer for premium Ruination skins that will easily become one of the most sought-after skins in Valorant like Elderflame. The game previously hasn’t collaborated with Riot Games’ other titles, so this union of the two worlds will undoubtedly get tons of appreciation from the players.

The bundle will be released as part of the Sentinels of Light event and will feature skins for the primary weapons in Valorant. The bundle has similar emerald hues of the Ruined King, merged with a Reaver collection-like body. Each gun is glowing in heavenly shades of blue, whereas the dark metal adds a tough finish to the rather gloomy skins.

Unlike other bundles, this one will cost big money. The entire bundle will be available for 8700 Valorant points, highest than all bundles and lower than Elderflame. Each skin will be available for 2175VP, whereas melee will come at the price of 4350 VP.

Posters of the Ruined King spotted across Valorant maps

League of Legends’ Sentinels of Light event will be teased in all its games, including Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift. In League’s official lore, the Ruination is a catastrophe that will affect all of Runeterra unless the Sentinels of Light stop the Ruined King, Viego. And it appears that Viego has also made his way to the VALORANT.

Posters of the Ruined King’s blade have been plastered across Bind and Split, where Breeze’s teasers were previously displayed. The emerald sword teases the arrival of Viego in the Valorant universe, hyping up the Sentinels of Light event. Three banners can be seen in Split, whereas a large poster looks down at Bind’s B lobby. A cryptic “darkness has arrived” message also glows on one of the posters.

It remains to be seen whether the event will only include these posters and a skin bundle, or the developer will roll out more event-related features. Many players anticipate development in future Valorant lore disrupted by the Ruined King from League of Legends.
