Three hours of Mortal Kombat 1 story has leaked online, convincing players that the upcoming brawler is going to exceed all expectations.

If Megan Fox’s addition to the fighting roster and the recent 17-minute-long gameplay showcase weren’t convincing enough indicators of how amazing Mortal Kombat 1 is shaping up to be, the leaked story certainly seals the deal. However, most fans are angry at the spoilers littering the community forums.

Spoilers can be enjoyable, but when a full-blown leak extends to over three hours, it can truly spoil the fun. Currently, the web is littered with video footage of Mortal Kombat 1 story, and while players are trying to dodge the leaks, they are also impressed.

Mortal Kombat 1 story leaked online

Mortal Kombat 1 takes place on a rebooted timeline by Fire God Liu Kang, who is gathering warriors for a tournament. Basically, the game takes a fresh spin on a worn-out multiverse narrative.

On September 11, a streamer named K33n streamed the entire campaign mode twice. NetherRealm has managed to get the footage removed and his channel terminated, but viewers had already recorded a large chunk of streamed content. So now, the first three hours of Mortal Kombat 1 story is available online.

The videos are still getting deleted, but a fan has summarized the story on Reddit, available for everyone to read. The true fans are trying to avoid the spoilers, but those who have read the whole synopsis have positive things to say.

“I actually read all that. Seems like a good story. A couple things I was confused by but I’ll just play through the game myself to fully understand everything. I feel like there is a lot of fan service in this. I’m not complaining one bit, just pointing out the obvious,” one fan said.

Others complain that the story feels rushed and the ending isn’t satisfactory. However, all factions agree that the gameplay, fighting, and visuals are up to the standard set by NetherRealms, maybe even better.

Players can find out how fresh the story is by themselves when the game releases on September 19. Eager players can pay some extra moolah to get early access on September 14.
