Med Mist is a lifesaver in Fortnite, quite literally. The healing item has returned in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, and here’s how you can get it.

Fortnite has several healing items, but players firmly believe that Med Mist is the best out of all. The spray has gained its fandom for its reusability, as you’re not obligated to spend all charges at once. Not just that, you can share your healing spray with teammates as well. There are plenty of reasons why Med Mist is the best, and it seems Epic Games has come to terms with it as well.

Med Mist heals 5 HP per tick and has a total of 150 ticks. This means this small item is capable of healing a player back to 100 HP. But you can only store one of these at a time.

On July 30, Fortnite unvaulted Med Mist right as Chapter 5 Season 3 approaches an end. If you’re on the hunt for the healing utility, here’s what you should do.

How to get Med Mist in Fortnite?

Med Mist Fortnite

Med Mist is an uncommon rarity item, but curious players can get it by unlocking loot chests. Lucky players may find it after opening a bunch of loot boxes. If not, they are also found in supply drones and large ammo boxes across the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map.

Med Mist can also be claimed by eliminating players and picking it from their loot. Also, keep your eyes locked on the ground, as it can also be one of the dropped items. Once you have Med Mist, it will fill up a single slot in your inventory. When you’re low on juice, just equip the spray and press the fire button to gain.

This handy item lets you recover health while moving or hiding so you can stay alive and keep fighting.

How to heal teammates with Med Mist in Fortnite?

If you’re looking to heal an ally, equip Med Mist and hold the aim button while looking at the target. An animation of the player spraying the mist on an ally will play.

However, you may want to ask your teammate to stand close, as Med Mist can also heal enemies if your aim is a bit off. You don’t want to do that for obvious reasons.
