Lira, Thal, and Sangyoon join new Korean team Seorabeol Gaming
Popular Korean streamer Lee Sang-ho has decided to start a new League of Legends with top laner Park “Thal” Kwon-hyuk, jungler Nam “Lira” Tae-yoo, and bot laner Gwon “Sangyoon” Sang-yun.
Three pro players and one streamer gathered to discuss League of Legends and a new organization was born: Seorabeol Gaming. The team already has recruited three members in former Hanwha Life Esports players Sangyoon and Thal and former Dignitas player Lira.
The team is looking for a mid laner and a support to begin their initial run. The organization is currently recruiting players out of solo queue. The newly formed team will attempt to qualify for Challengers Korea and from there earn a spot in the LCK. The road to the LCK won’t be easy, as the teams in Challengers Korea are improving every year and have slowly been taking over the LCK in recent years.
LCK veterans ready to compete at Seorabeol Gaming
Sangyoon is coming out of his brief retirement to join Seorabeol Gaming. The former captain of Hanwha Life Esports announced his retirement back in October, and the organization held a retirement ceremony on October 24 in which they put Sangyoon’s uniform up for display at the organization’s training facility.
Thal, a former T1 player, was part of Sangyoon’s team in 2019.
Lira is joining the team after a World Championship run with Clutch Gaming. The jungler has been playing in North America for the past three years and is returning to the Korean competitive scene for this new project. Lira and Sangyoon played together in 2015 with Rebels Anarchy, the team that would end up becoming Afreeca Freecs.
Seorabeol Gaming is already getting attention and support from the fans who are excited to see this combination of players together. The organization has time to put together a roster and get some practice before attempting to compete, unless they can rush the process and be ready to play in the 2020 CK Spring Qualifiers that start on December 15.

T1 exposes Karmine Corp with 3-0 win at League of Legends MSI 2026
Wasif Ahmed
T1 just beat Karmine Corp 3-0 in the play-in stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational. More importantly, T1 turned KC’s strengths into weaknesses. The bot lane and teamfight prowess that shone in the LEC were no match this time. The match started with Karmine Corp picking a disrespectful draft, blind picking three immobile squishies. Right off the bat, a botched invade put their jungle and bot lane at a disadvantage. ...

The KeSPA Cup is an annual tournament organized directly by the Korea e-Sports Association. While it doesn’t get nearly as much attention as Riot-organized leagues and events, LCK powerhouses still participate in it. 2025’s KeSPA Cup is still fairly fresh since it took place in December. This year’s tournament ...

This year’s MSI is still ongoing, and the next match in the play-in stage is slated to pit T1 against the LEC’s Karmine Corp. Both participating teams absolutely destroyed their respective opponents in this stage’s first round. With two 3-0 scores, both Karmine Corp and T1 have established themselves as powerhouses. The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2026 will kick off with T1 facing off against Team Liquid, but will the match really be as one-sided as the betting odds make it out to be?
