Lies of P showcases gameplay and boss fights
The gameplay showcase of Lies of P has left fans of the Soulslike genre wanting more. The dark, gritty vibes paired with fierce combat are jaw-dropping.
Lies of P is a Soulslike game that has Pinnochio at the center. Focused heavily on storytelling and action, the game revolves around P’s journey to find Mr. Geppetto, his creator. In his quest to become human again, P encounters teeth-chattering enemies. That’s where the cut-throat action shines.
Lies of P gameplay showcase featured multiple bosses, some giant and slow, others slim and agile. But all of them seem deadly and hard to beat. Thankfully, P has a couple of tricks and Steampunk weapons up his sleeve to tackle the mercenaries.
Lies of P gameplay showcase
Lies of P gameplay highlighted multiple weapons, including a sword, an axe, a giant wrench, and different variations of the same weapons. For example, the sword can be seen catching fire and even lighting bolts to tackle stubborn enemies.
Some swords are small, while others are massive. P can be seen swinging different tools on fire to tenderize the enemies and then finish them off with a regular kick. Some weapons are so big that he can also use them as a shield or to dodge attacks.
The bosses in Lies of P will force you to act quickly and be nimble. They are giant and armed with Steampunk equipment that adds a cutting-edge yet intimidating feel to their already larger-than-life presence. Puppet King looks like the biggest boss so far, with metal palms the size of P’s entire body.
Spiteful One seems like the most difficult boss from the gameplay due to her maneuverability, thanks to her petite build and tiny ant wings. The rest of the bosses are too large to react quickly, but the ant-like enemy is quick to attack P from all angles.
Lies of P will be released on September 19 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
