Atomic Heart is finally out, and fans are already disappointed. The game itself is fine, but gamers are asking: Is Jensen Ackles in Atomic Heart?
The FPS action role-playing has been under development for quite some time now, and regular teasers have only added to the hype. So naturally, players couldn’t wait to fight off superpowered robots who had gone rogue. Set in an alternate-history 1950s Soviet Union, Atomic Heart was indeed on the wishlist of FPS games’ fans for 2023 thanks to its unique visuals and concept.
It’s finally been released, and players love it. The only question they are curious about is: Is Jensen Ackles in Atomic Heart or was the trailer just bait?
The simple answer is: No, Jensen Ackles is not in Atomic Heart.
You may remember Jensen Ackles from his role as Dean Winchester in the long-running television series “Supernatural.” The actor debuted in the gaming world through an unnamed character in the Atomic Heart trailer. Don’t get ahead of yourself, though — he’s not actually a playable character in the FPS action game.
A week before the release, Mundfish rolled out a hot new trailer featuring Jensen Ackles. It also featured a subtle comedic reference to Hogwarts Legacy. A little witch keeps trying to swing her wand but to no avail. Frustratingly, she breaks the wand into two. That’s when Jensen Ackles appears in ragged clothes and a weapon.
The two-minute-long trailer features Jensen Ackles breaking the dummies and some random furniture as the little girl cheers him on.
“That’s how you do it. The Atomic way,” Jensen Ackles says as the trailer wraps up.
Those who have played the game are confused. Is Jensen Ackles in Atomic Heart, or did they miss something? Unfortunately, the popular actor is just in the trailer and won’t appear in the game.
