How to unlock Slumbering Court, Genshin Impact’s newest domain

Slumbering Court has two new Genshin Impact artifact sets to farm, but that’s no good if you can’t access it.

Genshin Impact introduced a brand new domain in update 2.3. Slumbering Court is neatly tucked away on Seirai Island with two brand new artifacts up for grabs. Opulent Husk and Ocean-Hued Clam are great for several characters, including some that are yet to be released. Here’s how to unlock Slumbering Court, what you can get there, and the best teams to clear it out quickly.

How to unlock Slumbering Court in Genshin Impact

Slumbering Court does not have any prerequisite quest to unlock. As long as you have access to Seirai Island, opening the new domain is as simple as tapping on it. Simply walk up to the domain and enter it for the first time to unlock it for all world levels.

Slumbering Court is located in Seirai Island’s northernmost archipelago. There is a teleportation marker west of Hiraumi that is just north of the domain. Although it’s easy to access, the new artifact domain is located just below the surface. Head south from the teleport point and walk through a small crevice to access the new domain.

New artifact sets in Genshin Impact

Opulent Husk and Ocean-Hued Clams were the two new artifact sets added in Genshin Impact.

Opulent Husk’s two-piece bonus boosts defense and the four-piece set bonus introduces a new stacking buff called Curiosity. Albedo, Noelle, and Zhongli users should consider farming Opulent Husk artifacts. Anyone saving up for Arataki Itto or Yun Jin can confidently farm to prepare for their arrival.

Ocean-Hued Clam is the other new artifact set available in Slumbering Court. This set amplifies healing and offers a way to convert heals into damage. The following characters can make great use of the Ocean-Hued Clam artifact set. The set is clearly designed around Kokomi, but other dedicated healers like Qiqi, Barbara, and support Jean can make good use of it. Maybe even Bennett can finally put away Noblesse Oblige to convert his elemental burst into a damaging move.

Best teams for Slumbering Court

Slumbering Court uses a unique domain Ley Line Disorder that buffs the player. All characters get a 40% electro damage bonus inside the domain. Activating the electro-charged reaction will also trigger damaging shockwaves every few seconds. Because of this, it’s best to pair an electro main DPS with hydro supports.

The best DPS characters for Slumbering Court are Raiden Shogun, Keqing, Razor, and Beidou. Pair them up with hydro supports like Barbara, Kokomi, Mona, or Xingqiu. You can also flip it around and use a hydro DPS like Childe with electro supports such as Fischl or Kujou Sara.

The enemies include seven rifthound whelps, one fully-grown rifthound, and a random mitachurl for good measure. Finish up your team with a crowd control support like Venti or Kazuha and you should be able to speedrun the newest domain in under 90 seconds.
