Modern Warfare 3 beta

Per usual, another Call of Duty title is rushing in just as players are starting to get used to the current one in the massive FPS franchise. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is starting to build up hype, starting with a MW3 beta. Here’s how to join.

Call of Duty: MW3 is coming November 10, 2023. But before then, a beta is coming in October, giving gamers their first glimpse into the next Call of Duty game.

When is the MW3 beta?

The Modern Warfare 3 beta will begin on October 6, 2023.

The first beta will only be for PlayStation players and will run from October 6-10. The following weekend will be the second MW3 beta. It will include all platforms and have crossplay, allowing friends to game together from October 12-16.

If you have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-ordered, you will have access to the betas on October 6-7 (if you’re playing on PlayStation) and October 12-14. If you don’t have the game pre-ordered, you can only play October 8-10 (PlayStation exclusive) and October 15-16.

How to join the MW3 beta

If you want to join the Modern Warfare 3 beta, we recommend pre-purchasing the game. This will give you access to a lot more days when it’s finally time to participate in the beta.

Then, download the beta on or just before the date that it goes live. Go to your console’s game store and download the beta, installing it into your platform of choice.

PlayStation gamers will have access to the MW3 beta early, but it will be available for Xbox and PC the following weekend as well. If you’re playing on PC, download the beta through Steam or Battle.net.
