Diablo 4 is taking over lots of isometric action fans’ days, but just how long does it take to beat Blizzard’s latest installation into the RPG franchise?

The Diablo games are famous for being full of as much content as you have time for, spanning into the super late-game raids and dungeons. This latest installment currently lets players reach up to Level 100, but that’s long after the main campaign has concluded.

So how long does it take to beat the main campaign, and how long do fans have to play to reach level 100 in Diablo 4?

How long does it take to beat the Diablo 4 campaign?

The Diablo 4 campaign follows the return of Lilith, the supposed progenitor of humanity, returning to Tristram. The final dungeon of the Diablo 4 campaign is set to level 50. This is the recommended level to be before undertaking the final campaign dungeon, but anywhere above 45 is probably fine. Finishing this dungeon will leave you at the end of the campaign with only late-game content ahead of you.

Most estimates put reaching this dungeon at somewhere between 20-35 hours, depending on how many side quests you take. This is a good amount of gameplay for fans who sprint at the main story, and even better for those stopping to smell the roses and fetch quests.

How long does it take to reach level 100?

The best estimate on how long it takes to reach level 100 in Diablo 4 comes from Associate Game Director at Blizzard, Joseph Piepiora.

According to Piepiora, it will take over 150 hours of gameplay to reach the current level cap for Diablo 4.

This is a ton of time, and players will need to renew their grind for gear, experience, and items to get there after finishing the main campaign. There are a staggering 120 hours between the end of the campaign and the end of the game according to Piepiora, which is a huge amount of time for fans to commit just to reach late-game.
