Warner Bros. is hosting a closed alpha the ultimate Multiverse of Madness with its highly anticipated fighting game, MultiVersus.

What happens when icons across different realities gather in one spot? MultiVersus’ first official trailer paints the perfect picture. Warner Bros’ free-to-play crossover game has finally been revealed, and it’s perfectly chaotic and hilarious. The publisher has merged diverse realities to create a MultiVersus of laughter and action.

The action-packed trailer features an elaborate showdown between the most unexpected characters. From Bugs Bunny and Batman to Arya Stark and Shaggy, MultiVersus has cast a very wide net for its roster. This is the latest crossover arena brawler, following 2021’s Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

MultiVersus is scheduled for worldwide release in 2022. There will be a closed alpha test for players who just can’t wait to jump into MultiVersus. Here’s how to get in on the action.

How to get into the MultiVersus closed alpha

Players need to go to the game’s official website and apply for a spot in the MultiVersus alpha test. The website steers players towards the sign-up.

The MultiVersus closed alpha isn’t yet available globally. Only players in the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand are eligible to apply for the test version of this iconic crossover.

It’s worth noting that registration doesn’t automatically guarantee access. The spots for alpha users are limited, so be quick and sign up.

Accepted players receive an email confirming their slot by May 17. Codes will be distributed and redeemable on May 19.

How to give MultiVersus closed alpha access to a friend

Players who are accepted into the closed alpha have the ability to give access to a friend through the MultiVersus website.

This is done by receiving a referral link from a user who has redeemed their closed alpha code. This is the easiest way to lock down a slot in the MultiVersus closed alpha.

Players can give a friend access by doing the following:

  • Logging into the associated WB Games account
  • Select “Beta Management” from the left menu
  • Click the “Invite a Friend” button in the MultiVersus section.
  • Copy the entire URL and privately send it to a friend

What modes can I play in the closed alpha?

Players will be able to experience a variety of characters, maps, and modes in the MultiVersus closed alpha. The game is primarily being portrayed as a two-on-two arena fighter, and that mode will be available. Alongside that, players can try out one-on-one matches, four-player free-for-alls, and a practice mode, all offering different ways to play and experience the game.
