Here are the Prestige skins coming to LoL in early 2020
Riot Games has announced
new Prestige skins
coming to League of Legends in the first half of 2020.
Some of the new skins will be coming to the 2020 Prestige shop, while others will come along with thematic events, such as Mecha Kingdoms event that introduced the Prestige edition of Mecha Kingdoms Garen. Three new skins will be available through Prestige point crafting, and two in addition to Garen are coming as event skins in the next couple of months.
True Damage Senna, Zyra, Malphite, and more to receive Prestige skins
The 2020 Prestige point skins so far include True Damage Senna, Zyra, and Zoe. These skins coated in gold will be available to players who earn the points by finishing different in-game missions such as winning premade games. Assuming the prices will remain the same as last year, each of the skins will be craftable with 100 Prestige points.
Events will bring Prestige skins for Malphite and Lucian. Just like Prestige Mecha Kingdoms Garen, these skins will be available for 100 event tokens. These skins will expire with tokens but will be available again for Prestige points towards the end of the year. Prestige skins will expire on January 28th, 2021, and points will expire one month later.
The thematics of the skins, besides Garen’s and Senna’s, is unknown as Riot doesn’t yet want to spoil the surprise.
Prestige skins come with new borders, summoner icons
Riot has also prepared a new Prestige border to go along with the skins. Purchasing the skins will unlock a summoner icon unique to the skin.
If, however, a player gets a 2020 Prestige skin as a skin shard reroll or from loot after this year’s shop closes, the summoner icon won’t be included. This means that this year’s Prestige summoner icons won’t be available by any means after January next year.
The 2020 Prestige points are also available via Masterwork Chest bundles.
