Here are all the Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Gods
The Warhammer 40,000 universe has four dark gods plotting for galaxy domination, and each one of the Chaos Gods has a completely different take on spreading calamity throughout the galaxy.
The Chaos Gods are four primordial beings that reside within the Warp, a realm of pure psychic energy that overlaps with the physical universe. They are the embodiments of the most extreme emotions and impulses that exist within the sentient beings of the
Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Warhammer 40k Chaos Gods
Khorne
First, there is Khorne, the Blood God. Khorne is the god of martial prowess, strength, and aggression. He is worshipped by those who seek to prove themselves in battle and crave the adrenaline rush of combat. Khorne’s followers offer him skulls and blood as tribute, and in return, he grants them power and martial prowess.
Tzeentch
Next, there is Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways. Tzeentch is the god of change, evolution, and manipulation. He is worshipped by those who seek knowledge and hope to unlock the enigmas of the universe. Tzeentch’s followers might offer him secrets and arcane knowledge, and in return, he gives them the ability to manipulate reality and bend the world to their will, or perhaps drive them mad and transfigure them beyond recognition.
Nurgle
Thirdly, there is Nurgle, the Lord of Decay. Nurgle is the god of decay, disease, and stagnation. He is worshipped by those who seek release from the pain and suffering of life, and his followers believe that they will find solace in the embrace of his love. Nurgle’s followers view his deformations as bountiful gifts, as he grants them twisted immortality and the power to spread his plagues.
Slaanesh
Finally, there is Slaanesh, the Prince of Excess. Slaanesh is the Chaos God of pleasure, excess, and indulgence. They are worshipped by those who seek pleasure in all its forms, from the sensual to the murderous. Slaanesh’s followers often give themselves to outrageous depravities to feed the domain of their twisted god. Slaanesh is the most recent Chaos God on the scene, being formed from the fall of the Aeldari empire.
Those are all four of the Chaos Gods in Warhammer 40,000. So, traveler, it’s time to decide which laughing god you’re best aligned with.
