One phenomenon that became apparent in manty countries is that online casino searches became more dominant during recent months. Given how travel restrictions have been hard on a lot of economies all over the world, governments perhaps saw a potential for recovery in this branch of entertainment.

As a result regulations on online gambling became laxer in some regions, and recently even the Netherlands legalized this activity. Of course, this is still a heavily regulated and scrutinized industry but there are new online casinos popping up all the time, introducing new games.

eGames at casinos

Some classic land-based casino games have also become regulars online. These include table games like poker, blackjack, baccarat, and roulette, and of course, lots and lots of slots.

That being said, not all of the casinos will be the same. In fact, new online casinos are ranked based on their bonuses, payment methods, and variations of the slots, which we will cover later on. Bonuses actually play a really big role when it comes to popularity and it’s the reason why players maintain multiple accounts across different platforms.

Slots

Slots are the most played games at both land-based and online casinos. Even if they look the same on the surface, they do have a lot of variations. Slots vary in the number of reels, and paylines, and different RTP rates. Most importantly, different jackpots.

Lastly, slots have hundreds of different themes and this allows players to change things up even if they are playing the same games. However, slots are not as popular as before, especially with a younger audience, which is why casinos might replace some of them with video games.

Finally, slot eGames are vastly different from the ones in physical gambling joints. The bonus rounds you can unlock while playing on a phone or browser make the whole experience more engaging.

Arcades

Some casinos are actually redesigning the old arcades and turning them into casino games. This is mainly to attract a younger audience, freshening up their offerings.

These games are fundamentally different compared to slots, given how your play skill strongly affects how likely you are to win. That being said, this is not limited to online platforms, as land-based institutions are doing the same thing and bringing over new arcade machines.

Remember to check out the variety of sites just to see what they offer, as partnering up with multiple game developers will allow them to expand their list of games.
