Horse Ranch DLC

After some leaks, it’s been officially revealed that The Sims 4 horse Ranch Expansion Pack is on its way.

Even though EA has been full steam ahead with The Sims 5, developers are still busy making The Sims 4 content. This includes the Book Nook and Grunge Revival Kits that dropped last month, as well as the Sims Delivery Express adding an R&B station. But those were not the biggest reveals of the month.

When is Horse Ranch coming to The Sims 4?

Horse Ranch was revealed in June after some promising leaks. You can expect the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack to drop on July 20, 2023.

The expansion is coming to PC, Mac, and all consoles. In less than a month, all Sims fans will be able to add some exciting ranch content to their virtual life.

How much is the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack?

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack will cost $39.99. This is the same cost as other expansion packs. You can currently pre-order Horse Ranch on Steam, the Epic Games Store, or the EA App. It’s also available in every console store.

What is the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack about?

This expansion will bring you to the world of Chestnut Ridge, a “great American West” frontier. Some new neighborhoods are New Appaloosa, Riders’ Glen, and Galloping Gulch.

An official blog post from Maxis has gone into further detail about the Horse Ranch. This expansion will allow you to breed, rescue, and purchase horses. You can also enter your Sims into competitions at the Equestrian Center, including a lot of horse riding challenges.

Each horse has their own skills, including agility, jumping, and temperament. There are also horse traits like aggression, bravery, defiance, energy, fear, intelligence, and neediness.

The horses can be created in CAS with real-world breeds to choose from. Foals can be born as well. There will also be mini goats and sheep.

The expansion pack also has food and other items that reflect Native American culture.
