The sudden ending of Yellowstone leaves some questions unanswered like, does Monica die in Yellowstone?

Monica Long-Dutton is the granddaughter of Indian elder Felix Long and married to Kayce Dutton. As part of the Dutton and the Long family, Monica found herself in the middle of the feud between them.

In one incident, Monica’s brother and Kayce’s brother had a fight that resulted in a shooting. The cause of the fight was the never-ending conflict between the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch and the Broken Rock Indian Reservation.

While pregnant with her second child, Monica had a car accident on her way to the hospital. Monica gave birth to a son who soon after died.

Sadly, Monica is no stranger to dangerous accidents. At work, Monica tried to stop a fight between two students. Monica was hit and passed out. The doctors diagnosed her with an epidural hematoma and rushed her to the operating room.

Monica survived the brain surgery but still had to face physical therapy. Her precarious health took a toll on her relationship with Kayce. However, the pair decided time and time again to work on their marriage.

In another incident, Monica and Kayce witnessed a drug lab explosion. They survived the crash.

Does Monica die in Yellowstone?

Despite going through several life-threatening situations, Monica doesn’t die in Yellowstone.

In five seasons, Monica survived car crashes, shootings, and invasive surgery. Her resilience and the love for her son kept her alive through all of it. She recovers from her multiple injuries over time.

Do Monica and Kayce get back together?

After a brief separation, Monica moves to the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch to live with Kayce and their son Tate.

At some point, Monica had a fleeting relationship with her therapist Martin. This affair ended when she decided to move back with her husband and son.
