Ginny and Georgia Season 1 was an instant hit on Netflix. The mother-daughter duo, their struggles in a new neighborhood, and some criminal undertones were intriguing for the viewers. Throughout the series, secrets are uncovered, relationships are tested, and the characters are forced to confront their pasts in order to move forward. Now, a lot has been unraveled about the Millers’ troubled past, and fans want to know more.
Ginny and Georgia Season 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger, so everyone’s on edge for Season 3, which is still unannounced.
When is the release date for Ginny and Georgia Season 3?
Netflix hasn’t yet announced the Ginny and Georgia Season 3 release date three months after the Season 2 premiere. But since the show had a jaw-dropping ranking, fans shouldn’t worry much. Ginny and Georgia Season 3 should come out anytime in 2023.
Ginny & Georgia creator Sarah Lampert said so far Netflix hasn’t reached out in regards to Season 3 yet, but she hopes it’ll happen eventually.
“No, there’s been no talks with Netflix about Season 3. They’re very regimented about how they do things. So there’s very much a strategy in place where I think we’ll drop it, and then we have to wait to see how it does and if we’re going to see Season 3,” she said.
Debra J. Fisher has also revealed that the team hasn’t yet begun writing, so it’s tough to tell what’s the future of Ginny and Georgia on Netflix. According to Fisher, Netflix’s policy is to wait 30 days to see all the data and then decide to proceed with a show. If that’s the case, then Ginny and Georgia is definitely not in any hot water. The show enjoys a solid 86% audience score and a 60% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
What happened in Ginny and Georgia Season 2?
The season was filled with a lot of drama and surprises, and the ending left fans eager for more. Georgia’s arrest for murder was a shocking twist, and the other storylines, such as Austin’s dad’s arrival, Marcus’ depression, and Joe’s heartbreak, added to the emotional complexity of the show.
In season 2, the show continues to follow the lives of Georgia and her daughter Ginny, who are trying to navigate their complicated lives. By this point, we know Georgia has murdered her husband Kenny and then Anthony. As the season progresses, tensions rise, and secrets are revealed, culminating in a shocking finale where Georgia is arrested for murdering Cynthia’s husband, Tom.
