All the Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 explained

In Diablo 4 there are two tiers of Unique items, Unique and Uber Unique, nad the second are some of the most powerful items in the game, so we’ve compiled them all for you.

Uber Unique items are exceptionally rare Unique items that supercharge your character beyond belief. Right now, before Season of the Malignant arrives, there are six different Uber Unique items currently available for players to collect. Each of them is exceptionally rare, and many are some of the most desirable items in the entire game. The six Uber Unique items are Andariel’s Visage, Doombringer, Harlequin Crest, Melted Heart of Selig, Ring of Starless Skies, and The Grandfather. Here’s what they all do and the best method for finding any given one of the items.

All the Uber Unique items in Diablo 4

Andariel’s Visage

Andariel’s Visage is an Ancestral Unique Helm that can be worn by all classes. It grants +1.3-2.0% Life Steal, +10-18 to All Stats, +4.4-10.0% Attack Speed, and +24.5-45.5 Poison Resistance. Its true power, however, lies in its unique passive Lucky Hit. On attack, Andariel’s Visage grants a 15-20% chance to trigger a poison nova that deals a whopping 10,077 Poison damage over five seconds to enemies hit by it. This item is a fantastic tool for AoE mob-clearing, a key part of Diablo 4.

Andariel’s Visage is a fantastic piece of gear for classes looking to add a splash of AoE damage to their capabilities.

Doombringer

Doombringer is an Ancestral Unique Sword that has an impressive 1,241 DPS. It does 904-1354 Damage per hit and has an Attack Speed of 1.10. Doombringer also adds 17.5% Critical Strike Damage. It additionally grants 12-26% Maximum Life, 10-17.5% Damage, 12.5-19.5% Core Skill Damage. It has two separate Lucky Hit passives, the first is a 5% chance to heal 523-941 Life. The second Lucky Hit passive is a 15-25% chance to deal 5,822 Shadow damage to nearby enemies, as well as reducing their damage by a whopping 20% for five seconds.

The Doombringer is a more all-purpose AoE offering, but its excellent base stats and Core Skill boosts make it incredibly tempting for lots of builds.

Harlequin Crest

The Harlequin Crest is one of the two rarest items in Diablo 4, even among Uber Uniques. The Harlequin Crest is an Ancestral Unique Helm that grants a total of 1,025 Armor. It also grants 732-1,359 Maximum Life, 5-12% Resource Generation, 20-28 to All Stats, and 4.4-10% Cooldown Reduction. The huge bonuses from the Harlequin Crest come from its unique passive. You gain 10-20% flat damage reduction, an absurd resiliency boost even for Uber Uniques, and you gain +4 Ranks to all of your skills. Four more ranks in all of your Skills is inarguably one of the most absurdly powerful effects in the game, there’s a reason this is considered the best item available.

With a percentile damage reduction and +4 ranks to every skill you have, the Harlequin Crest is very likely the single best item in all of Diablo 4.

Melted Heart of Selig

Our first Uber Unique amulet, the Melted Heart of Selig is an absolute beast when it comes to utility and resource boosting. The Melted Heart of Selig grants 18.5% Resistance to all Elements, 5-12% Resource Generation, 12.5-19.5% Core Skill Damage, +10-18 to All Stats, and an additional 16.5-23.5% Damage while Healthy. Most importantly, the Melted Heart of Selig grants a massive +30% Maximum Resource. In addition, whenever you take damage, you lose 3-8 Resource for every 1% of your maximum Life you would have lost.

This item lets squishy characters turn their Resource into their health bar, becoming far more durable than they otherwise would be at the cost of a risky game plan.

Ring of Starless Skies

The first Uber Unique ring, the Ring of Starless Skies, is the absolute dream for Core Skill-spamming characters who are worried they’ll run out of Resource. Ring of Starless Skies grants 25% Cold Resistance, 1.8-5% Critical Strike Chance, 3.2-6.0% Lucky Hit Chance, 12.5-19.5% Core Skill Damage, and 14-21 Critical Strike Damage. Most of its power comes from its final effect, which makes each consecutive Core Skill cast reduce the Resource cost of the next Core Skill by 8-12% Resource cost, up to a maximum of a total 40% discount.

The Grandfather

The Grandfather is our final one of the Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 and likely the single best weapon in the game. The Grandfather is an Ancestral Unique Two-Handed Sword with 2,484 DPS. It deals 1,988-2,980 Damage per hit and has 1.0 Attacks per Second. It also comes with an additional 17.5% Critical Strike Damage. It also grants 14-28% Damage, +20-36 to All stats, +732-1,359 Maximum Life, and completely ignores Durability Loss. Finally, its true power comes from its unique passive, which increases your Critical Strike Damage by an absolutely wild 60-100%.
