7 Days to Die released the highly anticipated Alpha 21, the biggest release since 2021. It promises to be a fun experience for players, some who might be wondering, is 7 Days to Die cross platform?
7 Days to Die is a survival horror game developed by The Fun Pimps. The game takes place in the fictional county of Navezgane, Arizona. This area survived a nuclear attack during the Third World War. The player takes on the role of a war survivor who must find supplies and avoid the zombies in the area. The goal of the game is to survive for as long as possible.
The game was released through early access in 2013 and has remained in that status ever since. Hence the Alpha 21 version released earlier this month. The game is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In 2022, The Fun Pimps announced that 7 Days to Die would be released for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
With Alpha 21, 7 Days to Die, is hoping to improve the graphic aspect of the game, one of the main points of criticism. Other improvements include changes in the crafting and loot system.
Is 7 Days to Die cross platform?
7 Days to Die has a multiplayer mode available through player-hosted servers. The admin can set it up to be a cooperative game or to be versus, where players compete against each other. Single player can access the game without setting up their own servers. Players on PC and console can access both server options.
7 Days to Die has partial cross platform compatibility, available to console players only. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One players can all join the same server and play together.
There are no plans to make cross platform available between console and PC players.
