Jungler William “Meteos” Hartman and top laner Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho are back in the 100 Thieves LCS roster for 2020.

100 Thieves revealed two members of its LCS starting roster, Meteos and Ssumday. 2020 will be a bit of a homecoming for these two players as they will return to the main roster in the spring.

Ssumday spent most of 2019 playing for 100 Thieves Academy. In the summer, the team had too many imports and not enough slots. The coaching staff prioritized AD Carry Bae “Bang” Jun-sik over Ssumday and started Aaron “FakeGod” Lee in the top lane.

100 Thieves goes back to its roots with Meteos

100 Thieves is ready to put its best player back in the starting roster. The team is cutting some imports in the main roster and giving Ssumday the prime time he deserves. With Bang being transferred to Evil Geniuses, 100 Thieves has one free import slot that could go to Australian mid laner Tommy “ry0ma” Le.

Ssumday will be reunited with Meteos. The North American jungler is no stranger to 100 Thieves fans, as he was the starting jungler when the team debuted in 2018. After a year with the organization, Meteos exited the team under difficult circumstances. 100 Thieves decided to trade the jungler to FlyQuest Academy without notifying Meteos first.

The entire situation sparked a conversation about player contracts and how transparent the teams should be about transfers. It’s all water under the bridge for 100 Thieves and Meteos, as now the jungler has rejoined the team for the 2020 season.

In a video, Meteos admitted that having Christopher “PapaSmithy” Smith as the general manager motivated him to rejoin the team.

100 Thieves has two core pieces of its roster ready. The team is still searching for an AD Carry, and if the team fails to find a candidate they could get Matthew “Deftly” Chen from Evil Geniuses. 100 Thieves is yet to confirm its starting support and mid laner. It’s unclear if ry0ma would debut directly in the LCS or if he will start with 100 Thieves Academy.
