Valorant getting new LoL-themed skin line with unique Vandal

Riot Games is building on the League of Legends narrative in Valorant with the new Sentinels of Light skin bundle release. 

Earlier, the developer revealed that the sister game League of Legends’ biggest event Sentinels of Light would also enter Valorant. The brand new skin line pays homage to Sentinels, an order of protectors who fight against darkness. 

League of Legends’ big event Sentinels of Light kicked off on July 8 and it is spreading across five different games. The event is all about the order of protectors taking the fight to Viego, the Ruined King. Previous skins in collaboration with League of Legends was a nod to the Ruined King but the developer is still working on new cosmetics. Sentinels of Light are the complete opposite of the dark and grim Ruination skins, named after the catastrophe that the king triggered in his attempt to bring his wife back from the dead.

The developer has now unveiled the new skin line that is luxurious, clean, and compliments the light theme. The Ruination skins reflected Viego’s grim story with its dark undertones but the new skin bundle is embellished with golds and crystalline reflective glass. The bundle base is white, gold, and black, but it comes in various other bright colors for those who like some extra bling. 

Valorant Sentinels of light details 

The bundle price is currently unknown but it will likely sell for the same rates as the Ruination skin line. Exclusive Edition (XE) skins in Valorant come for 8700 Valorant points, which translates to roughly $85. If the new collection falls into the same category, players may want to stack up at least 2,175 VP to grab one skin from the brand new collection.

• Ares
• Operator
• Sheriff
• Vandal

The bundles are upgradeable and also have a final-kill animation with soft music in the end. Different color variants and a cool equip animation add to the hefty price. Unlike previous knives, the unique geometrical melee for Sentinels of Light indeed makes this the hottest bundle so far.

The bundle is set to release with Patch 3.02, so it should already be available to shop in the market.
