Participating countries

The countries usually categorized as part of the European region include the following (though they are subject to change in the future): Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom (UK), Vatican City, and Israel*.

Tournament format

Tournaments are organized across Asia, North America, Europe, South America, CIS, and the Middle East. The VALORANT Champions Tournament will feature three levels of competition, vis-à-vis: Challengers, Masters, and Champions. 

The first level will focus on regional competition with each region striving to qualify for the next level. The Masters events feature teams representing the best talent from their region. The events are larger and only take place three times a year. 

At the apex of the season lies Champions. They are a two-week tournament that will feature the top 16 teams from across the globe, however, with only one team to be crossed the first VALORANT global Champion.

International Masters events

The competition will feature a total of 16 teams from all over the world. They would jostle for prizes and points that will increase their chances of getting qualified for Champions. Additionally, the winning team in the previous Masters event will gain automatic qualification into Champions with an extra team slot for their region. First international LAN event

It should be noted that Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters will be the tactical shooter’s first LAN event. The top 10 teams will compete in-person in Reykjavik, Iceland on May 24th.
