All rosters for each LEC team in the 2021 season

The 2021 LEC season is getting close and the 10 teams have their respective rosters locked in. 

Just like in North America, the offseason in Europe has been wild and included a lot of big changes. Big names like mid laner Luka “Perkz” Perković and top laner Barney “Alphari” Morris have left to play in the LCS, while a bunch of rookies from the European Leagues are getting a shot at fame on the biggest stage in 2021. 

The LEC is known to develop a lot of new talent and next season will be no different. There are currently so many rookies coming into LEC, that a lot of prominent former LEC players have been downgraded to lower leagues. Players like mid laner Fabian “FEBIVEN” Diepstraten and top laner Andrei “Orome” Popa won’t start in the LEC in the spring split, which is a clear result of all the rookies.

What is the LEC?

The League European Championship, also known as the LEC, is the best LoL league in Europe. The league hosts the 10 best organizations in Europe and features a franchise format. This means that all 10 organizations own a spot in the league. Through LEC, teams can qualify for the World Championship as European representatives. 

Who won LEC 2020?

G2 Esports won both LEC splits in 2020. The organization has been the most dominant Europe has ever seen and the titles are proof of that. Even though G2 won both splits in 2020, they did feel the competition from other teams. In both spring and summer, G2 had to qualify for the final through the lower bracket but ended up winning when it mattered.  

What is the difference between LCS and LEC?

The difference between the LCS and LEC is that the leagues present two different regions. The LEC is the best European league, while the LCS is the best league in North America. Previously, both leagues were called LCS but the European league chose to rebrand to the LEC.
