LCS fans are surprised by 100 Thieves' new roster for 2021.

100 Thieves is reportedly signing Choi "Huhi" Jae-hyun as its starting support, making him the fourth former Golden Guardians player to be signed to the new roster. Chan-ho "Ssumday" Kim, Victor "FBI" Huang, and Can "Closer" Çelik played for Golden Guardians last season and will now compete for 100 Thieves.

"Huhi will replace Poome, who played the last part of the season as the starting support for 100 Thieves," esports journalist Pablo Suarez stated on Twitter.

100 Thieves reportedly signs Huhi and FBI for 2021 season

Despite fans' concern that Golden Guardians was not the strongest team last season, others have pointed out that Huhi and FBI are a strong duo that will shine on 100 Thieves. Huhi was a popular player to watch last season thanks to his mechanical skills and skillful macro play. Even though Golden Guardians didn't prove themselves well enough last season, Huhi's followers are confident that this is a good move for 100 Thieves.

Huhi last played with 100 Thieves in 2019. During the spring split last year, Huhi was the team's mid laner. In the summer split, Huhi switched to support, which helped him to really shine.

100 Thieves started 2020 quite strong. They grabbed third place in the regular season of the 2020 LCS Spring Split. But 100 Thieves dropped to seventh in the summer split. Now, they are looking at the Golden Guardians' former roster to see some improvements come 2021. They've reportedly signed the best players from that organization, so it's possible Huhi and his squad will finally be able to take things to the next level.

So far, 100 Thieves has not announced a new mid laner for next year.
