Riot Games and Red Bull have partnered up to bring League of Legends fans limited-edition themed cans and a new amateur tournament series.

The amateur tournament series, Red Bull Solo Q, is a chance for amateur League of Legends players throughout the United States and Canada to get some new recognition. It will feature 1v1 tournaments across North America that let players “flex those 1v1 sills in a toplane battle for glory.”

“Amateurs face-off in the top lane of Summoner’s Rift and can claim victory by drawing ‘First Blood’ against opponents, destroying the opposing player’s outer turret or achieving a 100-minion creep score first,” the official Red Bull press release explained.

Riot and Red Bull held a similar tournament last year, crowning Tristan “Jumong” Cote-Lalumiere as the event’s champion.

Red Bull Solo Q’s online qualifiers and leaderboard access will begin later on in the summer. Competitors will fight for a spot in the US and Canada finals. The winner will take home various prizes and the “coveted Red Bull Solo Q trophy.”

“As a proud partner of the LCS, Red Bull always looks to impress and raise the bar for our fans year after year,” Matt Archambault, head of NA esports partnerships and business development at Riot, said. “In celebration of this unique competition experience for our respective communities, we’re also delighted for the first-ever Red Bull Solo Q Limited Edition cans to come to market.”

Red Bull has yet to reveal how to register the code, but the company says it will be “shared soon.”
