PSG.LGD had a small redemption after its new roster debuted at WeSave! Charity Play.

PSG.LGD revealed its new squad at the online charity tournament. Its underwhelming performance in the previous tournaments translated to a major roster shakeup.

The team benched newly recruited carry player Li "ASD" Zhiwen. Legendary offlaner Yang "Chalice"' Shenyi replaced ASD as position 1. PSG.LGD also loaned Ren "eLeVeN" Yangwei from EHOME to fill the gap in the offlane position.

The roster was announced a day before the tournament, so there wasn't much time to create the ideal team chemistry. However, the players instantly came together and played well.

PSG.LGD’s new roster had its debut game at WeSave! Charity Play China region. The team faced China’s giant Invictus Gaming in a best-of-three series.

Chalice played comfortably in his new role and racked up an 11/2/18 KDA on Spectre. The team stomped Invictus Gaming by consistently rotating around the map and creating chaos. Invictus Gaming tried to flip the table late, but was unsuccessful.

PSG.LGD once again asserted its dominance in the second game. The team eliminated Invictus Gaming from the tournament after a quick 32-minute brawl.

PSG.LGD will advance to the finals where it will face China’s current number-one team, Vici Gaming.

PSG.LGD has started to redeem itself after disappointing results had begun to define the squad prior to WeSave! Charity Play. It can be remembered that the team was knocked out of the open qualifiers of the past two major Dota Pro Circuit tournaments.

WeSave! Charity Play is an online tournament featuring four teams playing in six different regions. All donations, along with the $120,000 prize pool, will be collected to help the fight on COVID-19 pandemic.
