100 Thieves Ssumday explains his new perm after win over TL
When you think of the hair of a winning League of Legends player, it's the bowl cut. But Chan-ho "Ssumday" Kim wants to change that. It's time to say goodbye to bowl cuts and hello to perms.
The 100 Thieves top laner completely dominated in the team's match against Team Liquid today, even solo killing Jung "Impact" Eon-Yeong twice at one point. It was safe to say that Ssumday was having a great day, as well as the rest of his teammates, staying ahead of Team Liquid throughout the match.
"We were focused on working together as a team," Ssumday told WIN.gg.
Even though Ssumday doesn't think his team is better than Team Liquid just yet, he does believe that they will keep improving from here. And it's, in part, due to his perm.
When did you get your perm?
Ssumday: Last Monday, back in Korea.
How long does a perm last?
I’m not sure. Probably two months.
What made you decide to get a perm?
Last summer, I had normal hair. I wanted to change my hair after I got the championship trophy in Academy [with 100 Thieves' Academy team] and joined the LCS.
So this was sort of a change to commemorate joining the LCS?
And you dyed your hair, too?
Yes, it's brown.
Have you considered any other color?
I’m considering doing something special, like red or blue. But my skin color is kind of dark. So I’m not sure if it would fit me or not. So I went with a normal color for now.
Would you consider getting a tattoo?
Yes, but if you do you can’t delete it. You can't remove it. So I don’t think I would get one at the time because I don’t know what I would get.
